PHILIP-LORCA DICORCIA
My brother is studying photography, and he told me about this amazing dude that he had seen in Berlin. Philip-Lorca diCorcia is an american photographer born in 1951. I'm amazed by his theatrical style and how he plays with light and darkness to create very interesting compositions. There is something baroque over the style, but at the same time the contents are very modern. This image is from the spread Cuba Libre in W Magazine March 2000, and I just love it!
