Talking about Iceland... The Icelandic artist
Shoplifter (Hrafnhildur Arnardottir) is a really remarkable artist mainly working with hair, fur and other natural and synthetic fibers as material in sculptures, clothing and "wall pieces". In 2004 she created Björks famous hairsculpture for the cover shoot of Medúlla, one of my dearest and most favourite albums, as well as all the pictures inside the cover itself and the costumes for the whole tour. The crazy, energic, timeless and well crafted pieces is something that can always inspire me.
