Japan in Milan

For the 3rd year in row, the Tokyo Fiber is exhibiting in Milan. This year with "Senseware".

The exhibition is a collection of pieces, both art and design, using different kinds of textile fibers. Carbon fibers, synthetic fibers, fibers with light etc. The artists and designers are both japanese and international. (Ex: Nendo, Ross Lovegroove), but they are all realized by japanese industry.

It seams like the japaneses love going into the core of their products, and they turn out to be lacking use of colour. Maybe makes their products clearer.... But I love what they are showing, and it is maybe the most innovating and interesting part of the Milan? Wish I was there....
