EXHIBITIONS IN OSLO

These are exhibitions that I want to check out VERY soon!!

Galleri Christian Torp: Josefine Lyche & Henrik Pask: WHO CARES ABOUT ALIENS ANYWAYS

In April of 2009, Josefine Lyche met Henrik Pask in Philadelphia, PA while attending Bob Eure’s CIREAP group. At the time Ms.Lyche was scheduled to be a speaker on her Alien Abduction research. Preston Nichols also presented his material that evening. Preston brought Mr.Pask with him this evening as a surprise guest to share some of his “Montauk Boy” experiences. After Lyche first lectured, Pask walked up to her to tell her that he had been in underground bases, and recalled a memory of walking down a hallway in some underground facility, seeing women and children in chickenwire cages, screaming for help.

Galleri Erik Steen: Stian Ådlandsvik: Hell is Chrome

Galleri Heer: Anne Willumstad

RAM Galleri: Bull.Miletic: Mise en Abyme

The exhibition Bull.Miletic: Mise en Abyme features the artists’ most recent body of work conceived during their residency at Cité International des Arts in Paris, France. The works in the exhibition are based on historical representations of modernity in contemporary Paris with a particular focus on the city’s constant negotiation between the future and the past.

Nasjonalmuseet : Arkitektur: Brytninger. Norsk arkitektur 1945-65

Soft Galleri: Britt Smelvær : Destinasjon Damaskus

Britt Smelvær has in recent years worked with ornament as a major theme in her art. A long term residency in Damascus in the period 2008-09 has given her the opportunity to go deeply into the aesthetical, philosophical and historical traditions of Islamic art. The exhibition at SOFT gallery presents works in wood, foil, paper and plexiglass, inspired by her stay in Damascus.
